The story

A real adventure with real challenges

Oliver follows an old map to a secret island, where every new path asks him to observe, think and try. Along the way he meets Pip, crosses a difficult river, solves an ancient doorway puzzle and discovers that being brave does not mean knowing every answer.

The excitement stays at the centre of the story. Ideas about persistence, flexible thinking and learning from mistakes grow naturally from what Oliver does next.

Inside every story

Adventure first. Useful ideas woven in naturally.

Children get a story worth returning to; grown-ups get gentle openings for conversations that matter.

Curiosity

Questions are welcome

Maps, clues and discoveries invite children to notice details, wonder aloud and stay open to more than one possible answer.

Courage

Brave can still feel unsure

Our characters can pause, worry and ask for help. Courage grows through the next manageable step, not through pretending fear has disappeared.

Persistence

Trying differently counts

When the first idea fails, the story does not treat that as the end. Children see effort, strategy changes and mistakes become part of progress.

Halloween is Oliver’s favourite night—until he meets Boo, a tiny ghost who is afraid of everything. Together they face a creaky gate, a shivery scarecrow and a surprising trick-or-treating encounter.
